Hugo Chavez increased the taxes in Venezuela, as a part of an anti-crisis stimulus bill. But there are no anti-tax revolts in Venezuela, maybe because the differences between US government and Venezuelan government is that the Venezuelan government uses to the taxes exclusively for welfare, while US govt uses the taxes for wars, for bailing out crooked bankers, and very little for welfare
